Dear Panther Families,
It was wonderful to see our families out on Friday for PTA's Book Bingo event! We had lots of fun and students went home with several books. Kudos to our MES PTA for making the event exciting and providing fresh popcorn as we played the game.
October has rolled into our calendars and we see our panther cubs getting used to routines and expectations. Each month we feature a character trait and this month is Respect. Please share examples with your child so we have a team effort.
Tomorrow is a student holiday and Teacher workday. Our awesome Panther Faculty are exploring ways to make their lessons engaging and to have our panther cubs interacting with the content and each other! We look at research-based strategies and put them into action!
We are building Student Leadership Opportunities! We have a group of 8 students participating in Anchored 4 Life. This is a leadership group that greets, supports, and provides tips about our military families. They've been teaming to prepare for their kickoff this month.
October is Bullying Prevention Month. Our school counselors have selected some special dress days to remind us about being kind. Please see their attached newsletter.
