Magruder was lucky last week to have one of its very own win a STAR Achievement Award.  Mrs. Dallas, our school Physical Therapist, helps support our Panther Cubs with physical challenges access a education here at Magruder by improving student mobility, balance, strength, and motor skills for classroom and playground participation.  Congrats Mrs. Dallas!  

Join us for our annual Magruder Book Fair.  This year's HUGE selection of affordable books and educational products helps inspire reading among our Panther Cubs.  Hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day, with extended hours until 6 p.m. Thursday due to the 4th and 5th Grade Parent Learning Night occurring this Thursday.   Please reach out to your child's teacher and Dr. Puhlick, our library media specialist, for more information.

Out with the social media and texting, and in with some classic pen pals.  Our 5th-grade Panther Cubs have had the chance to each have 2 pen pals this year.  The first is a William and Mary Tribe athlete.  The second pen pal is a 12th-grader at Bruton High School.  These connections have been wonderful for all involved.

Our outstanding Magruder Anchored4Life team is collecting much needed items for our local community partners.  Thanks to our Anchored4Life team for all that they do for our Panther Cubs and the Magruder community.
